Planning for Consistent Prosperity
In today’s world it seems that nothing goes unplanned.
Our schedules are so tight that we need pencil in time with our children to
ensure they will get quality time with us. We even schedule in our trips
to the grocery store. Don’t get me wrong, living a predictable scheduled
life can lead to a sense of security and some success. We plan-plan-plan
our future....in hopes to make it easier and “LESS planned” eventually. We
envision a day when we can burn our calendars and to-do lists and get on
with “life”.
The first thing we need to do in planning for our
prosperity, is take a look at what’s in the plan. What’s the first thing
that comes into our minds? Usually finances. How much we are going to
make, over time, invested here and there. This is good. We strategize
early on what the best venture will be. We get all the steps in
place...what do we need to DO...in order to HAVE what we want in the future,
and now for that matter.
Michael Gerber, author of the E-Myth writes about
this. He includes, who do we need to BE -- to do what we need to do....to
have what we want to have? The “BE” in this formula is essential. Without
focusing on who we want to BE, and who we are, there is a good chance that
we will get stuck in our time, and never get to what we want to have. Life
can get pretty frustrating.
So, often in planning for our future and our prosperity we
forget to include ourselves in the plan. We forget to include our own personal
growth and development. We forget to be in touch with who we are, and what our
gut feelings are. The plan gets to be more important that ourselves. It seems
that we may want to put ourselves first on the list!
This is how it goes....when we are truly tuned in to
ourselves, we listen to our inner voice, our intuition. As we begin to trust
ourselves we take actions and make plans based on this guidance from our higher
self. Planning and taking action from this place is in alignment with your
life path. It holds a great deal more energy and things start to click!
Synchronicity becomes a part of every day life. Planning for prosperity is all
about you. Not the plan. Learning about yourself and allowing yourself to be
guided by something bigger. God, The Universe, Source, your intuition. This
guidance is there for us at all times, we just need to be open to getting it,
and create the space for it to come in.
Great Quotes
John Lennon:
"Life is what happens while you are making other plans"
Ralph Waldo Emerson:
All our progress is an unfolding, like a vegetable bud. You have first an
instinct, then an opinion, then a knowledge as the plant has root, bud, and
fruit. Trust the instinct to the end. Though you can render no reason."
Alfred A. Montapert:
"To accomplish great things we must first dream, then visualize, then plan...
believe... act!"
Napolean Hill:
"Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once, whether
you ready or not, to put this plan into action."
