Believe Everything and Nothing

Beliefs are powerful. In fact – what you create in your life experience is largely based on what you believe. Why? Because you’ve got thoughts and emotions associated with the belief. That’s it.

Have a belief that “money is the root of all evil?” Well, you’ve got a myriad of thoughts and emotions about that very belief – and as you think them – and cast out those resonating thoughts to the Universe, they are delivered back to you in some way. (Even in the form of similar thoughts!) As you know like attracts like. It’s basic law of attraction.

Here’s an exercise. For a moment, think about every belief there could ever be – in yourself, within your loved ones, friends, family. Now extend that to the face of this planet. And now the Universe? Yes, contemplate it all.

Imagine ALL the beliefs, and systems of beliefs there could ever be thought.

Who’s right? What’s truth? Could it be nothing is true? Could it be everything is true?

If you step outside your own mind for just a moment, and look at the millions of possible thoughts, truths and belief systems – you might just find something that serves you. Think that thought. Assume that belief. You get to choose.

I love this quote:

“Believe nothing. No matter where you read it, or who said it, even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” -Buddha

This is your work today. Believe nothing. And, I want you to notice that everything is just a belief. It serves you, or it doesn’t.

What comes up for you? How does that feel when I utter this belief? Does it serve you? Does it free you? Is it scary? Or, is it a match to your limitlessness?

Write and reflect: Here’s what comes up for me when I entertain that nothing is true – and that everything is true. And that I get to choose my truth:
