How to Create Desired Circumstance

George Bernard Shaw said:
"People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, make them.

Please note the important part of this quote – "…. and if they can’t find them, make them." What does that really mean? Well, coming from my point of view it means that you have the power to create any circumstance in your life that you want. Here are a couple of tips…You can go about "creating desired circumstance" in these ways.

  1. Because you are what you think – you would greatly benefit from changing the thoughts that are holding you back. Scarcity based thinking will only get you so far – and will be likely to have you barely scraping by. If you find yourself thinking, "I just don’t have any money" – you will be likely to create the same circumstance due to the energy that you are putting into your universal space. You also set yourself up to honor your most consistent thoughts, and your actions are in alignment with what you think. (whether you know it or not)
  2. Setting your life up to reflect abundance does wonders it terms of creating desired circumstance and attracting opportunity. What would it be like if you had a "reserve" of abundance in all areas of life? Develop a strategy to have "more than you need" in areas like money, relationships, and even create physical reserves. Play with the experience of having a reserve – have more than enough stamps or printer ink. What does that feel like? Imagine that kind of reserve in all areas. Think big about it. A reserve of 1,000,000 in the bank starts somewhere!
  3. Set your goals and know where you are going. It’s hard to create desired circumstance in your life if you don’t know what you desire. Take a look at what’s really important to- what you value most in life, and set goals around that. Allow your vision to grow with you as you travel down the road to your richest life. Be specific and finally…..
  4. Take action! You have heard it a thousand times before, but without action you will only be a dreamer.

Coach's Challenge:

Ask yourself – "What do I believe to be true about myself that stands in the way of my success?"

Make a commitment to yourself to change the thoughts you have around this belief by challenging yourself to move beyond this belief and fear. Be conscious of it daily, and consistently tell yourself that this belief/fear is only perceived as true. It does not have to be true, unless you make it! You are your own creator.
